This section, dedicated to the European Year of Citizens 2013, was prepared in cooperation with the European Commission Representation in the Czech Republic. The selected films present characters whose individual struggles shed light on the various aspects of citizenship and citizens' rights in today's Europe, be it in terms of non-discrimination, inclusiveness, social security, a safe environment or democratic participation.
